The cold winds have suddenly changed to mild! Spring has just about sprung but every now and then the weather turns back! Still, at least it's better than last year at this time. Fishing effort has varied along with the weather but those that have persevered have been well rewarded.

Gerry Welsh had 2 for 9lb and returned a further 12 on Diawl Bachs and Buzzers and had 4 for 10lb on his next visit. J Mack had 12 on c/r on Red Bunny and Ace of Spades. Jim Daley also had 12 on c/r to similar tactics.

Some days deeper tactics are working best but on others a floating line, indicator, and the wee stuff will do!
