A difficult week with ice and freezing winds but also some better weather in between. The hardy souls that came out found the fishing a bit tougher but rewarding nontheless. Despite the conditions stocking has continued apace and when the better weather comes the regulars will reap the benefits!

Ian Dobbie had 6 on c/r and followed this up on a better day with 12 more, bloodworm patterns being the best. R. Anderson had 9 on catch and release on buzzers and R. Kerr took four for 12lb on the same tactics. Wallace Muir had 3 for 10lb and Archie Dalziel had 3 for 11lb.

Other catches of note were as follows - D. Robinson had 4 for 11lb and returned 12; Gary Paton had 4 for 11lb 14oz; A. McInnes 4 for 9lb; B. Paton 4 for 10lb 8oz; P. Clark had 4 for 9lb 8oz. Best patterns were black bunnies and bloodworm.

Milder weather is predicted for next week - roll on Spring!
